       Founded in 1958, the Third Hospital of Hebei Medical University (HBMU) is one of the country's leading hospitals and advanced particularly in orthopedics medicine. The Third Hospital of HBMU is internationally acclaimed for excellence in clinical care, health and medical education, and scientific research. The hospital has been named as “ The Best Hospital in Hebei Province” for thirteen consecutive years for its high recognition.
       A premier tertiary-care facility, the Third Hospital of HBMU draws patients from surrounding communities, across the country and around the world. Situated on a 97,000 square meters campus in the center of the city of Shijiazhuang, the Third Hospital has 1303 patient beds, with 60 academic and clinical departments, centers, and institutes.   Our staff of more than 1,295 full-time physicians treats 34,000 inpatients and 405,000 outpatients based on the medical report in 2007.        The Third Hospital of HBMU is responsible for the certification of physicians at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate level, and as appropriate undertake the education of other health and allied professionals.
